I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2016
Interview
1 phone interview then an in person with the manager and lead pm. Pretty quick process. Company at the time was looking to move fast. CB recruiter I spoke to was really nice. Onboarding process was sink or swim. Need to learn things pretty quickly.

Question 1
Work experience. What can you add to the role. Challenging situations.
Rigorous but fair. I could tell they were passionate about their mission which helped me make my decision when the time came to receive an offer. This was a while ago so I am not sure that the process is the same.
During this time, I was constantly hounded by the external recruiter: if I didn't reply to emails immediately, I'd get a phone call with a voicemail. Then a text message. Then a message on LinkedIn.
I finally met the employee and he asked the most basic questions and wrapped the call early.
After that, I was completely ghosted by both the recruiter as well as the hiring manager, despite repeatedly reaching out to both. After how much I was hounded by the recruiter to have this second call, I can't believe they would just stop responding.
In any case, I probably wouldn't have accepted an offer anyway. This company is clearly way behind the times and struggling to get even the most basic stuff done. Stay away.
Recruiter reached out for an interview. I provided available times, and then I never heard back. It's been a few weeks so not sure what happened but maybe the holiday week changed their interest?
