      Bilingual Telephone Banker Interview

      11 June 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Arlington, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chase (Arlington, TX)

      Interview

The first contact will typically come from the recruiter, who may or may not do an official phone interview with you first to try and get to know you. Depending on how that goes she may schedule an interview to meet with one of the Unit Managers which are picked at random. When I got hired (2009) I was interviewed by three people at the same time but most recently I've seen 1-on-1 interviews of new hires. The interview can be pretty intimidating but just be friendly and professional and it should go pretty smoothly.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The usual questions such as, "Name a time when you have overcome a difficult situation with a customer and what you did to resolve it." Mostly hypothetical questions on different situations to see how you would handle them professionally.
