I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ChemPoint
Interview
I received a request for a phone interview less than a week after submitting my resume and cover letter. The phone interview went very well, the human resources manager was very friendly and engaging and I did not receive any very difficult or surprising questions. A few hours after the phone interview, I was emailed a request to come in for an in-person interview. A date was arranged and I came in for the in-person interview where I met with 6-7 people (in 2 teams of 3, and 1 job shadow). Everyone was very approachable and asked reasonable questions. When it came time for me to ask my questions, they gave very thoughtful and in-depth answers. The next morning I sent out thank-you emails to everyone I had met with and received an offer within a few hours. Overall, it was a very refreshing and positive experience.

Question 1
After the job shadow I was asked what I had learned. Luckily I had taken extensive notes, but I still felt like I was just rattling off random facts that I had picked up. So, pay attention in the job-shadowing process.
Interview process is much less about experience and more about personality. Show up prepared to learn and focused and positive with good energy. The interviewers are nice and just want to hear you speak and explain things.
