I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chemtest (Hesket Newmarket, England) in June 2022
Interview
I applied via the website, and was then contacted to attend an interview on site. The interview was with my line manager, and an employee I would be working with. They explained the role to me, it was a chat with a few structured interview questions. It was quite relaxed and friendly.
A few days later I recived an offer of employment by email, with documents to read and sign.
My first day included half on the day with HR, reading, signing documents, and watching health and safety videos.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chemtest in July 2021
Interview
The process started with a series of competency tests followed by an initial hour long call with recruitment . The tests were logic based and easy, but seemed irrelevant to the posted job.
The recruiter made it sound like an entire reset was needed within the site and he didn’t have many details. He quoted pretty low pay compared with the going market rate.
