After a phone screening with HR, I came for an in-person interview. First I completed a 12-minute cognitive test consisting of logic and vocabulary questions. Then I was ushered into another room where I did two mock calls with a supervisor. The last step was meeting with a director who asked about my career goals. Frankly, I was surprised I did not receive an offer since I got very positive feedback on the mock calls. My assumption is that they prefer to hire recent MSW grads and I have 4.5 years of postgrad experience. I was bluntly told that this was an entry level position, however, I am relocating to Chicago from out-of-state and eager to accept any relevant job.
