      Technical Support Tier I Interview

      29 July 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Dallas, TX
      The process took 1 week.

      Interview

Assessment which lead to 2 phone interviews and finally a third virtual interview.. I was told that during the second interview by a very nice professional young lady, that she wanted to moved forward and set up the virtual interview. She basically said that was to determine my level of technical knowledge to really determine my pay difference for the job. I must say I was shocked during my interview at the lack of professionalism the gentleman showed. He had on a T shirt and seemed highly uninterested during the short time. I asked only 4 questions about dealing with angry or upset customer scenarios. I was never asked anything technical or about troubleshooting. I knew that he was interested from the way conducted the interview. I feel as if I dodged a bullet based up his character. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning ... because he literally looked and acted like he just woke mins prior... maybe that why he got started at a late time

I applied through the website and a few weeks later was invited via email to take their assessment. Basically a work habits/personality assessment and some basic English, writing and mathematical skills. They also had a customer service simulation where you were asked to perform tasks and answer questions about how you would handle the situation. A recruiter will reach out and have you take a typing and internet speed test and have you email the results back to them. Then they schedule you for a final face to face interview with the recruiter. They will ask you about your work experiences and will expect you to research the core values and mission of the company which is on the website.
