I had given my resume directly to one of the representatives at a career fair at my university, and had a conversation with her about the company, what they do, and what they were looking for. I got an email from one of their HR reps who scheduled a phone interview with me for one of their representatives or people who would be interviewing. Their HR individual messed up the scheduling and I sat waiting for the phone interview, but it never came. I contacted them again via email and they kind of gave a more abrupt time for the phone interview for the day after at a time that wasnt entirely ideal for me. The lady on the call asked a few questions, we had a conversation, and I ultimately didn't hear back from them. I'd chalk it up to a learning experience. I made some mistakes but I'd say it was largely because of my own lack of expertise in job interviews. On to the next.
