I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Credit Acceptance (Southfield, MI) in July 2018
Interview
The entire process was horrible and a waste of time! There were many phone/web screenings. Same questions were asked in each screening. One of the recruiters provided incorrect information about the salary. I made it to the final panel interview. It was very different than what I was told the format would be like, as they changed it up last minute. There was only one person in the room for the panel interview, the other via webcam. That person walked into the room as he was talking to someone and went in about how one of the applicants was so great and asked good questions. Odd and unprofessional. They tried to pick me apart the entire time looking for inconsistencies as if I' was dishonest. There was a three step process and felt that I did well for the first two steps, but then they threw a wrench into the role play portion shifting the scenario and creating a situation that was completely unlikely and unrealistic and horrible making the scenario incredibly difficult, but in a non-professional way. Then at the end, the interviewer wasn't even going to get up to shake my hand until he saw me approaching him. Additionally, I would have declined the offer had they presented me with an offer as I felt mistreated during the interview. Bad experience. Run fast!!!

Interview
Short, easy. It was apparent that the person who interviewed me already had someone else in mind. Kind of cold feeling and it felt like they had to give the interview.

The interview process for the Market Area Manager role at Credit Acceptance, guided by Jordan Frank, was smooth and well-structured. Jordan walked me through each step, promptly answering questions and keeping communication clear throughout.
The entire team was transparent about the goals and expectations of the position, which greatly aided my preparation. Knowing what was expected helped me tailor my responses and prepare effectively for each stage.
Overall, a positive and well-organized experience. If you’re considering applying, you can expect clear guidance from the recruiter and a collaborative, goal-focused panel.
If you’d like, I can tailor the tone (more formal, more concise, or more detailed) or add specific examples from your experience.
