The initial communication was fantastic, and the process with the recruiter and senior key individuals was productive and engaging. However, after that, I was completely ghosted. Point blank. Period.
Despite following up with a feedback request, I have not received any response or update regarding my application. This lack of communication is disappointing.
I believe it’s important to show respect to all candidates, regardless of whether they may become colleagues. Common courtesy should never be overlooked, and professional behavior goes a long way. Even if a candidate is not the right fit, a simple email acknowledging the outcome is both appropriate and expected - not ignoring them entirely.
