First round was a phone screening with the TA, the phone screening was rather long compared to other companies I’ve applied to (for language based roles at least). The TA asked stuff like why I am interested in the role, my strengths and weaknesses, how much would I rate my excel proficiency skills, etc. However the TA was reluctant to disclose the salary range when asked (it’s already 2024 and yet they’re still so secretive about salaries, I wonder why). Then I was told there were going to be another two more round of interviews, a zoom interview with the hiring manager and a face to face interview in the office with the hiring manager (if I’m not mistaken), which I think is kinda too much for an entry level role?
The hiring manager was a bit evasive when I asked questions pertaining to career progression, which raised some red flags for me (perhaps this is one of those roles without career progression). Also during the interview they gave a short test, whereby they would show you a bunch of receipts and asked you to “give a comment” on them, without giving you any context or hints on how you should answer them - not sure if the interviewers were being vague intentionally to actually “test” us?
