      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dayforce (Minneapolis, MN)

      Interview

One or two phone screenings with a recruiter and three to four interviews with leaders. Everyone was nice to work with. I was asked to go on-site to the Minneapolis office to meet one leader in person.

Why do you want to work for Dayforce?

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dayforce (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2020

      Interview

First impression was terrible, I feel disrespected towards, complete waste of my time. The recruiter did not prepare any questions to ask me. The recruiter did not take the time to get to know me or ask anything about my experience or how I would contribute to the company. I basically led the interview by asking question about the company and walking the recruiter through my resume so the recruiter would know how to probe the next question. Felt like they probably already had someone in mind, if so then why bother scheduling an interview? It was not an equal or a fair chance of employment.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dayforce

      Interview

I was contacted initially by a very polite HR person though a phone screening interview . He seemed happy with my profile and told me that he was going to send my application to the hiring manager. The interview with the hiring manager was scheduled over the phone as he was working remotely. He opened with a monologue about the company, the department , the job etc. A person already working for them would understand but for an outsider seeking a job this information was almost confusing. The role was advertised as BA and the first question was about sql and the second regarding data objects. After questioning I understood that basically they were asking for someone to be responsible for the communication between the real BA and some developers team located on an island in Indian ocean. After a few days I received a call from another person telling me that they were going to pursue other candidates.

      Question 1

Too techy for BA role . SQL ? Data objects ? experience in software engineering ?
