I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Derivco (Cape Town) in June 2023
Interview
The interview process involved multiple stages, including a coding challenge administered through a third-party platform. There were four coding problems that gradually increased in difficulty, testing both problem-solving ability and technical skills. The strict time constraints added another layer of pressure, making the assessment more challenging and reflective of how well candidates can perform under time-sensitive conditions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Derivco (Barcelona) in Apr 2024
Interview
Had an initial chat with the recruiter, followed by a tech screening with two EMs. Everyone was friendly, but I was rejected for lacking React experience, despite having over 8 years of it (and almost no questions about React were asked during the interview, so the feedback I've got is a bit strange).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Derivco (Cape Town) in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview process is 3 step.
1st Interview is a meet and greet between you, your Line Manager (if successful) and Recruiter. (via Teams)
2nd Interview is a bit more technical between you, your Line Manager, Recruiter another Senior Developer and Architecture. (at the CPT offices)
3rd Interview is a simple meet and greet with the HOD. (via Teams)
You also get some technical assessments to do but its extremely fun.
