I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Digitas
Interview
There was a recruiter screening then two interviews. The interview after the recruiter screening was 30 mins and with one person. The final interview consisted of two 30 min interviews with one person in each interview. Everyone was really friendly and the overall experience was very comfortable. It was not intimidating at all. I rated the overall experience as neutral because there were some aspects of unprofessionalism. The recruiter said I would need to start by a certain date. In the next interview they said not to “worry about the start date.” They said I should hear back within a week, but it took them 4 weeks to get back to me after I had to reach out to the recruiter twice. The recruiter notified me that they decided to go with another candidate, but never marked my application as “not selected.” To this day, my application is still active on smartr. After interviewing with 4 people, I received no personalized feedback. That aspect of the process was very disappointing.

I applied online. I interviewed at Digitas (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2021
Interview
Digitas is a company I have wanted to work with for the past three years. I finally broke through for a phone screen and I was ecstatic. I extensively prepared for the call, only to have the recruiter postpone the call two hours before our scheduled time. I rescheduled for the next time I was available, which was a couple days later. She confirmed and I waited again to interview. The day as come and i have confirmed. This time I received an email only 13 minutes before the call telling me they already found their choice for the roll. With the reschedule and then the inappropriate cancelation it made me review the company. I came to the conclusion that if it was this bad before I even walked through the doors, the company's infrastructure is similar, if not much worse.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Digitas in Jan 2014
Interview
I was referred by a friend who works in the office. There was a short phone interview with a recruiter before I was asked to come in for a formal interview. I met with 4 different people and was there for about 2 hours. Conversations were rather casual as they all really wanted to get to know me and hear about my applicable experience. I had fantastic conversations with all of them and felt really welcome in the office. About a week later I heard back from the recruiter that I got the job.
