Application, Online Assessment, Phone Interview, Assessment Center.
I want to write a detailed review, so that more people can be benefited next time when they applied. Even though I failed at the AC, I still learned a lot from this experience, and E.ON is my dream Company.
This process lasted two and half months, I applied at the end of March, phone interview at 20th April, and then they told me in case I thought they would not contact me, the earliest time would be at the end of May that they would make a decision. And then I got a call at 16th May, notified that the AC would be on 7th June.
Online application as normal, Online Assessment was quite hard, 3 parts as usual.
Phone interview- with HR was quite long, lasted 1.5 hours. It consists normal interview questions, strengths and weakness, motivation questions, they would like to know how do you know about the energy industry and their company. And also lots of competency questions, such as, describe a time when you had to make a decision but you only have limited time.
Assessment Center(AC). This was surprising because, for each program, candidates number has already been shortlisted to two. It started at 8:30, finished at 3:30. And then you will be notified the result. It involved a self-presentation, with interview again, but with the head of the department, HR and a psychologist; a case study, which you have to present after that; a role play, and a speech, and the topic were randomly chosen by you.
The AC experience was pleasant except under pressure. Hope you find the information useful. BEST OF LUCK!
