I interviewed at EY (Dublin, Dublin)
It was an easy process. I arrived, signed in, I waited to be called and I did then did the interview. I was interviewed by two males. The interview was as expected.

The interview experience was a mixed bag. While there were a few technical and behavioral questions, and the atmosphere seemed very positive, unfortunately, I did not receive the offer letter.

I applied online, which included answering questions about my motivation for the company and the specific team preference and uploading my CV. After that, there was only one interview round with a manager of that team.

I was asked to describe previous experience in detail. Interviewer was friendly and interested. The interview was in two separate sessions with two different managers. Details of position were communicated well. Feedback was slow.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at EY (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2024
Message via LinkedIn promoting the role with application link, after application got schedule an interview with the hiring manager straight away, I was under the assumption it would be a screening call with the recruiter at first but went ahead with the full interview. The HM explained it’s a two step interview, got asked questions around 4 areas outlined on the interview invite, all competency based questions and open ended. It was an overall pleasant experience. I would have preferred it if it was indicated that there is no screening call with the recruiter and it’s straight from application to HM in terms of readiness and setting interview expectations prior to that.
- Question around experience team management

The interview was done by one partner in the tax department over Microsoft Teams. The partner seemed uninterested in the interview and my experience. They seemed quite dismissive of any outside big four experience.
- The interviewer asked for advisory experience.

very easy questions, nice to chat with, easiest of the big four, not too formal and offer lots of advice that comes in very useful. Basic questions like why EY

It was good. It took about an hour and mostly asked from the resume. If you are thorough with your resume you would be able to get through it. Be prepared to have a situation based answer to every responsibility you have written in your resume
- The most important question to them according to me was Why EY? They wanted to know how much you know about the company and where do you see yourself making a positive impact for the company.
