      Design Manager Interview

      8 July 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Eataly (New York, NY) in June 2017

      Interview

I was excited to be considered for a manager position but was very disappointed to hear how cheap and poor they value their employees. Their offering salary was ridiculously low, this should be truly embarrassing as a company that is looking to grow. They were offering the salary of an entry level position for a manager/director role, skipping the salary about 3 positions. The company has a great concept but they seem are trying to get away with practically a modern form of slavery and take advantage of hungry employment seekers. This is not a place for long term, is a place to get some experience and get out quick, they offer no appreciation or loyalty and the same will be received.
