I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Equinox (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
I met with the head of the Pilates department and then I met with the general manager. They wanted to know my experience and understand why I wanted to work at Equinox. We discussed whether I would want to teach group fitness classes. They described the culture of the club and the expectations of the members and of management regarding how employees serviced the members. They observed me as I taught a lesson and let me know immediately if I would be hired. They also described the compensation and opportunities to receive bonus pay. Overall I think it was a very helpful and thorough description of what would be expected of me. And I think they did a good job of understanding who I was and whether I would be a good fit for the position. The process was just as I would have expected it to be.
