The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Everman IDS (Everman, TX) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process was over all am easy experience. It is normally 1-2 rounds. Then you are notified whether you goy the job or not. Then they are very detailed about the next steps of the process. It was very simple if you followed directions easily.
It was simple, very easy, asked easy questions. Took 10 minutes. Took forever for the whole process. They do a lot of background checks, they drug test. Finger prints. Easy process. Just a long process after the interview is complet.
Quick hiring process. I had one interview and received an offer the following day. Those interviewing me were very kind except to the head principal, but he is no longer working in the district. The hey we’re very inviting throughout the process. As a new teacher, I wasn’t asked too much any it experience teaching, but I did share relevant scenarios of prior related experiences. It is highly important that for any teaching job (but especially this one), you are willing to put in the work to build relationships with the kids. That will take you far in the interview and in the actual position.
