I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FanDuel in Mar 2022
Interview
Typical HR interview and tech screen.
On site consisted of:
- System design - design old netflix (think mailing DVDs)
- Behavioral with manager
- Programming section with leetcode like question
Overall everybody was very friendly. I did not get an offer but got feedback that everything was positive so I am guessing it was close. I stumbled a bit under pressure during code part, even though it wasn't too difficult so that was probably it. Bummer, because it seemed like a good team and fun place to work.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FanDuel (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Applied via their website. Got a video interview with a hiring manager. I answered some basic interview questions. The decline to go forward even though I have all the experience and skills mentioned in the job posting. They seem to have criteria that goes well beyond what is covered by the job description.
I have spent a lot of time researching the company and they are obviously shopping for employees, having the same position up for months.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FanDuel in June 2024
Interview
First step was a recruiter screening with typical resume questions and past experience with team's tech. Next round was technical questions with engineers (e.g. what are the 12 principles of OOP, how do you handle code reviews, etc.). Final round was 3 interviews consisting of a coding challenge (handling concurrency & refactoring object to be more generic), system design (design article website like medium.com), and a behavioral interview with the hiring manager.
