I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at FirstEnergy
Interview
I applied in April and a recruiter reached out in May to conduct a phone screen. A week later I was invited to a phone interview. They asked mainly stuff off of my resume, what attracted me to the position, and if I had any questions. Was told they'd let me know in a few weeks if I'd continue forward. A week later I was scheduled an onsite interview. Onsite interview was basic behavior questions and scenarios. Very easy interview. I then sent out a thank you letter to the team that interviewed me. Reached out to the recruiter twice for follow ups and was told a decision has not been made. Haven't heard anything new in over a month so unsure if I will get an offer or not.

Question 1
Tell me a time you experienced resistance from another team member on a project.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at FirstEnergy in Sept 2022
Interview
I had two virtual interviews with the hiring manager(s) in the procurement sector. I met with the would-be direct supervisors in the first interview and then the director of procurement in the second interview, in addition to the primary hiring managers. There was occasional contact with the HR manager as well. Both interviews were about 45 mins- 1 hour. The first was entirely centered on scripted questions (ex. describe a time when you had a disagreement with a co-worker, what are you strengths + weaknesses, etc..) The second interview was much more lax and candid. It felt like a more genuine and organic interview as compared to the first.

Question 1
Greatest strengths? How would you use previous experiences for this role?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FirstEnergy (Akron, OH) in June 2013
Interview
I was contacted via email by recruiter that the company would like to schedule an in-person interview. I met with the hiring manager and her manager for an initial interview and was told I would be contacted within a week if they decided to ask me back for a second interview. The interview lasted about an hour. I was contacted 3 days later and asked to schedule a second interview. The second interview lasted about 20 minutes and was with the hiring manager and another department colleague. Two days after the second interview I received a call from the recruiter with a job offer. After both interviews I sent a thank you email to the individuals that I had met with.
