Behavioral interviews with the hiring manager and wide team followed by a case study and presentation to the hiring manager. Relatively straight forward, with 24 hours to finalize case study
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GLG in Mar 2024
Interview
I applied online and was contacted via email to schedule a call. I first had a recruiter call, and was given the go ahead to move to the next round, which was a timed task that would be sent to me. Upon successfully completing this task, I was then moved to the next round, which was meeting with two managers.
After waiting two weeks, I emailed the recruiter to ask about the status. She said that they were still interviewing and they didn't have a timeline nor the status of my application. I waited two more weeks, to no email, and then i withdrew myself from the process via email. I received no acknowledgement.
During the process, she also commented on my upcoming holiday I had mentioned, and how long it was and asked me how I could take so much time off when Australia only had four weeks by law. She asked me where I was going. It could be that she is Chinese and didn't have western cultural awareness or how to conduct herself in an interview in Australia, but asking where I was going seemed irrelevant and the comments were unnecessary.
I think the interview process could be indicative of what the place is like to to work at
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
Fairly standard interview process with a few oddball questions thrown in. The building was rather strange and not well-kept (lots of carpet stains, etc). That stood out to me. Panel interview and asked about my college GPA even though I was well out of college.
