Interview
15 mins cv and intro followed by 15 mins of how to approach a data problem described it step by step for a kaggle data set I worked on. Then a simple random variable math problem which can be found in probability book.

Question 1
Would have solved problem faster if I knew cholensky decomposition? I approached iteratively and the interviewer told me this is eventually gonna look like cholensky decomposition.

Interview
6 one hour interviews (mainly technical questions) with a take home coding project at the midpoint. Questions varied interviewer be interviewer and depended on their experience and taste. They were generally fun and not too difficult.

To walk them through some past projects that involved quantitative and data-driven methods
First was an online assessment involving probability, statistics, and math. After that, I had three zoom interviews involving machine learning, probability, algorithms, and linear algebra. Interviewers were very nice and helpful.
