You send in a resume and if you get a bite, they send you an NDA to sign and a programmer test. After submitting your test, it's just crickets for weeks and weeks on end.
You can usually tell how well you did on a test after taking it, right? I really thought that I did really well, if not aced their test. The test was 35 questions, multiple choice, on vector math, basic physics and programming. They then had a programming assignment for you to do. I'll keep that a secret, but suffice it to say, I solved a more general case of it to go the extra mile. I thought, "this is great, they're going to love this!" But I never heard anything back. I still have no idea what grade I got on their test.
It's just really disrespectful of candidate's time and effort to be ghosted like this. (To be ghost-punched in the face!)
Never got an interview.
