Interview
The interview process wasn't too stressful. The owner and assistant interviewing me really just wanted to figure out my handles on the skills I have and will need to do the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gradient Effects (Marina del Rey, CA)
Interview
I applied online when I saw a job posting and a day later I was emailed to come in for an interview. I went in and met with the owner and one of the producers. Right off the bat, both seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. They sat me down in the conference room and we discussed my reel. The owner was quick to tell me how I SHOULD have had my reel. It then went on to what the extent of my knowledge in Nuke and that I would have to learn Linux. I left that interview feeling like less than what I was worth.
