I applied on LinkedIn. they emailed me and I scheduled a time for a few days later. As most job applicants would, I spent time preparing for the interview. 10 minutes before the time of the interview - yes, 10 minutes - they emailed and said they are pausing hiring for it. It was rude and inconsiderate -- if you found out 10 minutes before, then take the call and tell me that over the phone. It was clear they had forgotten about the interview and had known for a while already that the hiring was paused. Unprofessional.
