I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at HarperCollins (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
Great bug rigorous interview process. Was a total of 3 months from the date of application to the beginning of the interview process, which took 4 weeks. I felt it to be a little over the top for this position, but it wasn't anything outside the ordinary. People were very nice, HR was very easy to talk to and an overall great process, however lengthy it was.

Question 1
Had to do an example case study about a hypothetical book.
I did all of my interviews digitally since I was in another state. I had one call with a recruiter, then two calls about an hour-long with the woman who would be my boss if I was hired.
After this, I was asked to the final phase of interviews, which consists of a panel interview with my potential boss and the other heads of the department I would be working with. This felt extensive for an entry-level role and took up two hours of my time - plus I didn't the role.
I wouldn't call any of it extremely difficult, just a time suck.

Interview
The interview process was great. A recruiter reached out to me and I made it through to the last interview, and everyone was very kind and wanted to remain to the point about the job and interview.
