I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HedgeServ (Dublin, Dublin) in Oct 2018
Interview
First, I had to complete a MCQ paper, with basic accounting and finance questions. Then I had a thirty minute formal interview with two staff members. They asked usual questions and was quite friendly. I was called for a second round interview, this time with a team director and manager. It was an informal interview and went through my CV. They offered me the job in a week time.

Interview
They Assess your CV. If suitable, next step is interview with Directors or Managers you'll likely be working under. Interview itself is fairly laid back, chat is to see if you know anything about the job and field. For example you should know what different securities are (equity, CFD, ETF, etc.) or what the difference is between debit and credits or what an accrual is. In other words, do you have a basic knowledge of Accounting and Finance. Didn't happen for me but have heard of a mini MCQ test being given but again just covering basic accounting and finance terms and principles.

Interview
Applied online and was called for an interview. Interview started with an MCQ and then a short interview with two interviewers. The interview was casual with questions around your work experience and university degree. The job role and what would be expected of you was then explained in detail.
