Interview
Applied online and got an interview a week or 2 later. I went in person to the school campus. I had a short interview and mainly the questions were about my experience with education. I was given a tour of the classrooms and was hired. It was a simple process.

Interview
I had a wonderfully constructive interview! The Assistant Principal was very approachable and welcoming. We talked about many facets of the school and students. The Principal was on audio, listening to everything we discussed. I left the interview with a good feeling and positive hopes for this opportunity!

Question 1
The Assistant Principal asked me to share a positive lesson I taught to my students and how the students responded and learned in the process.
Seven people on a zoom call interviews you. Each take turns asking questions. Based on your experience and different scenarios with the school. A bit of a stressful process with so many different individuals interviewing you.
It was fine through zoom. There were 3 employees of HISD on the zoom. They asked me to speak about my experience. They asked my availability. They each took turns asking questions.
