First 30 minutes recruiter call after that coding exercise. A first 30-minute call with the recruiter and after that, I need to follow up with the recruiter for the coding exercise. No response from the recruiter initially I thought HubSpot is not moving forward with my application. All of a sudden got an email after two weeks with a coding exercise. Overall I enjoyed the coding exercise. After spending three hours on their coding test recruiter ghosted on me. No update on my application so far despite sending multiple follow-ups with the recruiter. Based on other interview reviews, this behavior seems to be a new norm. I sincerely feel they could have been a lot better at communicating. *** A message to Hubspot if anyone is watching *** If you are expecting us to spend 3 to 4 hours on coding assignment to evaluate our skills I would expect to get a feedback email in return. Hardly it should not take more than 10 minutes to respond to our emails. I think it is fair to expect that. Please respect everyone's time.
