      Personal Health Coach (PHC) Interview

      17 June 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Humana

      Interview

The process went fairly quick, I had a phone interview, it lasted about 15-20 minutes and was offered a 2nd interview at the end of the phone interview. During both interviews I was asked pretty basic situational questions and also about my work experience and background. My web interview was on a Wednesday, I was told I would hear something within 24 hours but did not hear anything until the following Monday which made me kinda nervous. But it all worked out in the end.

      Interview

Three phase process: 1) automated call-in questionnaire (a bit awkward, zero feedback as it's automated, standard interview questions). 2) 1st 'live' phone interview - more basic interview questions along with a few job specific questions. Three people conducting interview - some follow up questions that were 'unscripted' - easier to hear feedback (though, as it's an interview, little is given at the time). 3) 2nd 'live' phone interview - Scenario style interview questions. Most specific to job, some more broad based.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Humana

      Interview

I was very impressed with the overall interview process. The phone interview was very informal but to the point. The interviewer definitely knew what he was doing and you could tell was genuinely listening to your response and not just going through the motions. The montage video interview was a little trickier. The technology was fine, but there is something nerve-wracking about video chat. You are focusing on your appearance and how you are coming across when you should be solely focusing on the question. Overall though, the process was painless. I was also impressed with how quick the process moved along. From the day I applied to the day I received an offer it was literally ten days. Amazing!
