The interview consisted of a half day of various meetings and presentations. I was asked to do a presentation to outline a plan for how I would get a new department up and running (30 minutes). Then I was guided to one-on-one interviews with the dean, the HR director and the committee. I was given a mock student interaction session where I helped students solve personal issues. This was a little awkward, as 13 people were in the room watching at the time. Finally, I had lunch at a local restaurant with a staff member and faculty member.
