*I was still in school at the time and wasn't graduating until the end of the semester so my timeline was longer than usual.* Applied and received an email (a few weeks later) asking to schedule a quick 30 min phone interview. After the phone interview I was told we would reconnect next month. At the end of the next month I received an email asking to hop on a quick call to discuss next steps. I was told I would have to do a mock-pitch in front of the senior leadership team over Skype since I was not local. I did the pitch the next month along with a written exercise. It took a lot of time putting together the deck and presentation, they don't give you much information besides some data and slides but it was fun creating it. I was then asked to fly out for a 5-hour in person interview a month later (the week before finals and graduation). I flew out and came in bright and early and interviewed with several people on multiple teams. Went to lunch with the team then completed another written exercise. Great building, everyone I met was friendly and wicked smart. Josh was wonderful and made the process very smooth. A couple days after graduation (in the 5th month now) I received a call that there was hiring hold for the holidays but that one of their teams was interested in me. Halfway through the next month I received an email saying that I was still in consideration for the role but the team was still determining their needs. A month later I received another email saying that they still don't have an opportunity that is an ideal fit, but they will let me know if that changes. That was the last I heard of them. Definitely wish they would have been more open about their needs and whether or not I was a good fit.

First step is a typical over the phone interview. They seemed most interested in making sure I did my homework and knew ibotta, that I had the skills for the position, and that I was a good culture fit. Second step is a mock pitch which they give you the case information and data for.
