I applied online. I interviewed at Impact Makers in May 2020
Interview
Initial screening call with HR to check for a culture fit—mostly behavioral questions. That was followed by a call with the internship supervisor. Mostly behavioral questions and questions about past experience.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Impact Makers (Richmond, VA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Interviews occurred over half a day. Two cultural interviews with junior staff, two technical interviews with peers, and brief meetings with SVP and President. There were follow-up calls with HR to discuss compensation and benefits.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Impact Makers (Richmond, VA) in June 2017
Interview
ImpactMakers, like most federal contractors, has to interview ahead of winning a bid. So, the interview process was about 2+ months as there was no immediate need. What differentiates this organization from many is they understand the human component and are pleasant & professional (e.g. timely & forthcoming). The interview for cultural fit as well as capability for the role. One of the best interviewing experiences in recent memory. They get it.
