I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Index Exchange in June 2015
Interview
Begin with a python progrogramming test required to be completed within a 24 hour period ,then after half a month received a phone interview. The phone interview went over resume and asked some very easy technical questions about basic concepts, received the reject letter right after the phone interview.
Long and complicated. Way too many screening calls with various useless middle managers and a ridiculous take home exercise that assumed I would be able to dedicate a week's worth of time to it. Culminated with a full day on-site interview with multiple people and departments where I was asked to jump through hoops over and over. Got an offer but the tech-bro culture on display was not something I was interested in.

Interview
Great interview experience and I knew exactly what I was getting into. Had an initial recruiter phone call followed by an interview with eng managers and then 2 hour onsite.
