The process was fine, but the interviewer lacked the technical skills. His questions were not clear. And he was repeating the same almost all the time. They do not have clarity on the roles.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Jan 2021

It was very smooth and well controlled. Interviewer was very helpful and was precise in questioning.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (London, England) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was invited for an interview after I applied online. There wasn't any phone screening only a formal email invitation which to be honest I found quite refreshing. First interview was at JP Morgan's offices with the recruiting manager. It was a very positive experience, more of a relaxed conversation over my skills and experience but getting out all the important information - as interviews on such senior level should be.
After my interview I received a prompt email - within a couple of days - asking me to return for a series of interviews to be conducted in one day. And then the saga began. The interview dates and interviewers involved kept changing, no times were given, the organiser went on holiday leaving me with no contact alternative and no confirmation on the date and times. I had to chase myself to finalise this and surely this is not the candidate's responsibility.
Finally a date was confirmed but interviewers had changed again. When I arrived for the interviews, I was left waiting for 15 mins - when the organiser finally arrived she claimed she was stuck on another call but interestingly enough Facebook was on her mobile when she left it on the table. Finally I was dialled in - the interviewer was already as well waiting on the line for 15 mins. This resulted to rush all three interviews I had on the day as they were arranged back to back and of course affected the interviewers' time. Two of the video interviews I had were completely rushed with second interviewer claiming that he would like to arrange another interview to gain more information. Third interview I had on the day was completely random as the person really didn't have any connection to the role I was interviewed for and spent quite a lot of time trying to discourage me for working at JPM.
There wasn't a third stage. For which again I had to follow up to get feedback from HR. The feedback was that other candidates had more online marketing experience which was essential to the role. Although it was never mentioned as essential in the job description and more importantly due to lack of time we never had the time to discuss my experience on the area.
Quite honestly the experience was very ill and made me having second thoughts about working for JPM. Really disappointing.
