I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Jacobs (Greenville, SC) in Dec 2009
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter after posting my resume online via Monster. An interview was arranged, and I was interviewed by two project managers. I was contacted within an hour after the interview to start the following week as a temp to permanent employee. After becoming permanent, I was given a small raise. I started at $17 an hour and now make $22 an hour after 5 years of service.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Bellevue, WA) in June 2023
Interview
My experience closely aligned with the requirements of this position. Despite expressing my willingness to relocate even without assistance (only two states away), Jacobs declined my application. It's frustrating to see a job description that matches my qualifications and industry experience perfectly, only to face rejection. Jacobs should consider being more open-minded towards accepting candidates from out of state.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Submitted resume and application on-line. There was a phone interview about the position and then they invited me to meet with management of the project. They asked traditional questions. Afterwards, we talked again by phone and met one more time to negotiate the salary. There was a drug test and then I began working at the project.
