I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jump Platforms (New York, NY) in Feb 2026
Interview
Their recruiter reached out to me, we had an introductory call and that went great. She took the time to meet with me even in the midst of some issues on her end which is very much appreciated. It went well and I was moved forward to the take home assessment. It was a two hour take home which I passed and was moved on to the next stage with the hiring manager. Unfortunately right after that I was informed they were shifting internal priorities and removed the job posting. Overall, I liked the people I spoke with and didn't mind the interview process, but I really think companies should figure out their internal priorities before starting interviews for a role. It wastes everyone's time, especially if you're going as far as requiring a take home assessment.

Question 1
Describe a tool you have worked on to improve internal processes.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jump Platforms (Missoula, MT) in Jan 2026
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and scheduled a 30-minute phone screen, followed by a first-round interview. I felt the interview went well, but a few days later I received a generic rejection email. I replied to thank them for their time and asked if they could share any feedback to help me improve. I received no response. I followed up again a few days later, still no reply.
Since the company initiated contact and I took time out of my workday (while currently employed) to interview, it would have been courteous to provide at least some brief feedback. The lack of follow up felt unprofessional and disappointing.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jump Platforms
Interview
I received an email requesting to interview. The first call was with HR and the second with one of the team members. It was pretty straight forward and typical. No red flags.
