I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Manchester, England) in July 2018
Interview
Very relaxed environment, 1st interview was a general chat with a senior manager. 2nd was competency based questions with a director and manager. People were very friendly and welcoming that relaxed you into the interview process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (St Peter Port) in Mar 2022
Interview
Interviewed for Guernsey office and interview was 1 hour long. Very friendly interviewers, both the HR and Audit Director / Senior manager. Their technical questions started much later in the interview which eased my comfortablity level and the initial anxiety did not impact my assessment related to practical scenario questions.
Got the job offer as i demonstrated enough knowledge required for the position. Very excited to work for such a great organization where people are friendly and considerate and at the same time very professional. Highly recommend.
Going through the questions, the technical quetions seemed a bit nerve wracking as they moved along different auditing and accounting standards. Also, HR questions focused mainly on the approach that i would normally take when their is some awkward situation at work or if their is a junior associate who is throwing all types of tanturms to avoid working. Further, they asked general questions like my strengths and weeknesses. overall it was a great expeirence.

Question 1
My biggest strength that i incorporate into working conditions (HR question)
2 stage interview.
First interview laid back and informal more of a getting know session, and your chance to ask questions, second interview was more technical based, testing experience with scenario questions.
Overall a good experience, and friendly staff who interviewed
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Reading, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
It was an audit technical based interview. Firstly the interviewer asked you to introduce yourself, then she asked four technical questions, each with its own scenario and topic. At last it is time for you to ask the interviewer any questions you want.
