I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time (Boston, MA) in June 2022
Interview
Phone interview, then 2 in-person interviews. Varies depending on management. I interviewed at one location that had a phone screen, then a zoom interview that didn't happen. Asked for a link for the zoom interview several times and got no response. totally ghosted. For another location, they skipped the phone screen and went right to an in-person interview. The manager interviewing me was extremely unprofessional. Showed up in workout clothes and made a bunch of excuses. Blamed the computer system for skipping the phone screen and overall lack of communication. EXTREMELY unprofessional. Ended interview after the manager insisted that pay was non-negotiable. Total waste of time.

Question 1
Asked about how you would react to different situations. Asked about prior experience and to describe a difficult situation with customers that was resolved.
Interview with GM and hiring manager specific to job and discussion about code of conduct and job requirements. Background check and administrative work follows. Wrapped up within a few days.
3 part interview which the manager wanted to turn into 4. For the amount of pay being offered, the process was extremely drawn out. There was a phone screening, regular interview that lasted about 10mins and then a job shadowing for about 30mins. The manager then wanted me to come to a class and demonstrate my interaction skills with guests.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Life Time (Eden Prairie, MN) in Dec 2024
Interview
You'll go through an in person interview with the concierge manager than the club general manager. Common for your application to get forgotten depending on club. You should reach out if its been longer than a week.
