I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lifetouch
Interview
Initial interview was over the phone. Very casual and friendly and up front with the life style of a photographer for the Church Directories and Portraits Division. It took a couple of weeks for the supervisor and me to get together for a phone interview and a few more weeks for a one on one interview. There was no formal training although I hear from other employees that they had class room time and were surprised to find that I did not.

Interview
Over the phone... manager is a sales man and SOLD the job to me, asking some questions that were personal, and pushing the job. (unemployed at this time, really did not give me the chance to ask more about the job)
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lifetouch (Hayward, CA) in July 2015
Interview
It was easy since I worked in the industry before applying. I initiated the call to their local office. A couple days later I get a call from one of the managers and was asked to go to Hayward for training which I did. Started my first shoot about 2 weeks later.
