Negative experience. It is been a month since I have applied for a PM position in Poland. The recruiter failed to introduce the company during our first call and the benefits of working there (although I had some background information from a friend who works there ). I was also provided incorrect information - hiring manager later confirmed work from home is possible. The only thing recruiter was after was "what is your salary expectation" - which is a difficult question to answer before fully understanding the role and responsibilities. Skype call with two hiring managers went well, it became clear there are more positions available and they both seemed interested in my skill set (and previous experience in localization!). After a week long silence, I reached out back to the recruiter only to find out the recruiter needs to know my salary expectation before continuing any further discussions with me - if only I knew this right after the call. I shared my salary expectation via an email, twice, afterwards nothing happened. I have not heard back from the person since. I only hope they are not treating their clients the same way.

The interview was pretty well planned out, it considered the basic questions of strengths and weaknesses as well as what I could necessarily bring to the company. It was quite straightforward and the interviewer was quite polite.
