      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LiveRamp in Sept 2021

      Interview

I don't normally write reviews of this nature but I am completely shocked by the unprofessional nature of the interview process. I was contacted for an interview by a recruiter, scheduled and 30 minutes prior to my interview, the interviewer texted my cell phone to cancel due to an emergency. Unusual but I understand that things happen and was fine to reschedule. My Zoom interview was rescheduled for a later date and the interviewer did not show up. I sat on the Zoom for 20 minutes and left. I sent a note to the recruiting coordinator and did not hear back. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism in the interview process! Huge red flag.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. And I apologize for the lack of consistent/timely communication from our team. Your feedback is taken very seriously and will be reviewed with the team so it does not happen again. Again - I appreciate the time you took to share your experience.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp

      Interview

Applied online, within 24 hours was contacted to set up a phone screen. The evening before the phone screen noticed that the job posting was taken down. Then 30 minutes before my call with the recruiter, he texted asking to reschedule later in the week. They were making changes to the role and needed some time to pull everything together. Understandable, and the coordinator almost immediately reached out to reschedule the call, which I took as a sign there was still interest. Phone screen was pretty standard. He went over the basics of the role and was upfront about the salary range. Throughout the call he emphasized that LiveRamp is interested in cultural fits, and taking initiative early in the interview process goes a long way. He emailed me a list of questions in order to continue further in the process, which I took the time to build out into a case study deck. Within 24 hours received an email stating they wanted to move forward. Took a few weeks to coordinate time for the hiring manager interview, but was able to confirm time for the following Friday with their Chief Communications Officer. Hiring manager was nice and professional throughout the call, although noted multiple times we had very limited time booked. Conversation was fairly friendly and straightforward. I asked if she had a chance to receive/review the supplementary documents I passed along to the recruiting team, (she hadn’t) which she suggested I email directly to her. Call ended on a high note, mentioning I would next be speaking with a panel of regional GMs. Yet immediately following the call I received an auto-reject and a note from recruiter that the hiring manager was passing. I totally understand, there’s not always a candidate fit and difficult decisions have to be made. Unfortunately it seems pretty clear there was no intent to move forward well before the interview. I later noticed similar glassdoor reviews regarding the exact same position. Definitely a bummer as I held LiveRamp in high regard before this process. My email thanking the hiring manager for the consideration and asking for any feedback was ghosted.
