I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp in June 2014
Interview
I applied to LiveRamp after seeing the recruiting video on YouTube. I immediately got an invitation to take the online test, and was scheduled for a phone screen shortly thereafter. The phone screen focused on my answer to the Six-Degrees of Kevin Bacon question on the test.
I then got a second phone screen, this time with the VP of engineering, which was a really positive experience. The VP was very friendly, and I was asked the basketball free throws question, which I think is a really interesting problem to think/talk about.
The on-site interview was a great experience; they put me up in a hotel near their office in San Francisco. During the interview, I was asked mostly algorithmic coding questions, along with a few puzzles and behavioral questions.
I had my on-site on a Friday, and received an offer the next Monday. This speed was evident in every stage of the process, and was a sharp contrast to most other companies I was interviewing with at the time.
I accepted the offer, and have been working there since!
