I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lyft (Nashville, TN) in July 2017
Interview
we started in a group setting where they gave some background info about Lyft. Then we moved into another room where each candidate was interviewed by two current employees. From there we went to another room where we did a mock phone call to another office; this was to see how you would respond and communicate with a customer with an issue. Finally, I met with another employee who asked me a few more questions about my availability and final thoughts. Overall, very friendly and laid back interview process.
The hiring process was pretty smooth. I initially applied in may and was given a job offer the next month. I appreciated everyone I spoke with. The hiring team was warm and inviting. I had three rounds of interviews.

It's 3 part where you're asked to give examples of how you've handled difficult situations. What customer service means to you. Why are you interested in this role and why do you think you'd be a good fit for it.

Interview
Once they email you saying they would like to interview you, you first send in a written response to an email from a driver and they review it and if they like how you responded then they emailed me a link and the time of the interview. Then when you go to the link you join the meeting and you get interviewed by 4 different people including a customer role play. And they also check your internet connection. They also make sure you have a desk, chair and a quiet office space in your home.
