I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MMR Research Worldwide (Wallingford, England) in July 2012
Interview
After reading the job description on Milkround, I applied for the role by email.
Few days later, I received an email to arrange a phone interview, having 7 days to prepare for it.
The interview lasted about half an hour and it was pretty general, regarding the knowledge of the company, my motivation for the role and the industry (market research), few questions about my CV and if I had other interviews or applications in progress.
The interviewer was looking for not-obvious answers (coherent with the motto of MMR) but very polite and kind.
I may have left a good impression but I haven't been shortlisted for the AC, probably because I was too nervous and my voice tone reflected that status.
To sum up, a classical phone interview you can easily pass "doing your homework" and being seriously interested in the role.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Why did you apply for this role? Why the Market Research Industry? Did you apply for other competitors so far?
Give me an example of when you had to plan a project (even in academic modules)? How would you plan a market research project? Which tasks do you expect you might be involved as a trainee?
I interviewed for the position at MMR Shanghai. I had one screening call with an HR based in UK. She was friendly and professional with timely followup and effective feedback.
However my experience with the Shanghai office was terrible. I interviewed with the head of the office and another member from the team. The interview lasted for one hour and a half. I was not even offered a bottle of water. The office itself looked terrible as well. Everyone looked so beat to me and the office was a mess.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. What is your career goal?
2. Describe one past project experience relevant to the skills of the position?
The interviewer sandip is horrid with beginners. He was rude and not even considerate about the level of Knowledge a fresher can have. Please dont go here unless you want to be let down by a useless fellow.

First asked to complete a data exercise. Around 2 weeks after completing the exercise I was invited to an initial online interview around 30 mins with HR. Then face-to-face interview at their London office.
