I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Martin Sprocket & Gear (North East, PA) in Sept 2014
Interview
This was one of the longest interviews I've ever been through. I met with folks at Martin a total of 6 times, including a flight to the corporate HQ for a 24 hour speed date. In total it was a 3 month process.
2 Phone interviews.
3 in-person interviews at the branch
1 full day interview/tour of the manufacturing/HQ in Arlington, TX (company paid)
1 full day of additional Personality and IQ testing by a company called Corporate Insights in Fort Worth, TX
Lots of time spend following up with "we need to hear back from corporate" and etc.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Martin Sprocket & Gear (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2025
Interview
Had a phone screen first. After the phone screen, an interview was scheduled. Though a technical background is preferred for the job, it was more about soft skills since that is at the core of the sales role.
