I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Medicus Healthcare Solutions (Lakewood, CO) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was first contacted by a representative at their headquarters in New Hampshire who found my resume on a job listing site. I reviewed the job description and perks, then took action to schedule a phone interview. I spoke with a very nice person at the company who queried me about my past sales experience and informed me that I was a prime candidate for the job and my information would be sent to their office in Lakewood, CO. I received an email confirmation for the time and location for the interview.
I arrived at the office for the interview and met with one of the employees. I walked into in a dimly lit office space--too dark for a workplace-- that crowded several blocks of cubicles that were mostly empty. The employee showed me to a small conference room and said I would be meeting the person with whom I was to interview with. The employee left to presumably tell the person who I was scheduled to see that I had arrived. after a 10 minute wait, the employee returned to the small conference room and slunk into a chair across from me and began the interview. During the interview, the employee was terse and his demeanor was slightly waspish. When I asked the employee about what the job is like, the employee described it as a "grind." When the employee asked me if I had any further questions, I several prepared. The response I received to each of my questions were met with a sense of disdain.
Here's a short excerpt from the interview:
Me: "Would you tell me about how Medicus HCS helps their clients with the rapid expansion of their medical practices?"
Interviewer: *rolls eyes as he swings his arms in the air* "...I DON'T KNOW!"
The remainder of the interview was brief. The employee concluded this portion of the interview and I was told to wait so he could send in the person I was originally scheduled to meet with. The employee returned to me about 5 minutes later to tell me that the person I was scheduled to meet with was unavailable and that I would have to come back the following week. It was vaguely mentioned that someone would contact me to re-schedule. I have not heard from anyone since.
My overall impression is that culture and virtues of the personnel in this office sharply contrasts with those conveyed on the Medicus HCS website. The reviews of past Medicus HCS employees on Glassdoor.com paralleled my interview experience there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Me: Would you tell me about how Medicus helps their clients with the rapid expansion of their medical practices?
Positive. First round was a phone screen, second round was in person. Office is very nice. Interviewers were pleasant to speak with. Interviewed for several different teams. Seems like a great place to work

Interview
Good interview, questions were easy and not overly complicated. Nice office. Wasn’t the right role for me. Would be better for someone more entry level. High cold calling and high touch activity.
