series of phone and in person interviews basically going over the positions and getting to know me. Meet with the director of the office and discuss resume and hours available. Once interviewed in person had to do background check and screenings after that was given a start date and salary. overall not a bad experience. Any interview is nerve racking but Merrill Lynch was not that bad.

Resume screen through employee referral followed by an in-person multi-round interview with several members of the team. Each mostly behavioral based with some basic technicals, specifically on various asset classes and their trends in the current market conditions.

Heard about an opening, applied, then was called in for an interview within two weeks. It was fairly simple — the longest part was going in for a background check and fingerprint scanning which took about a week to get the results back.
