I interviewed at Metropolitan Library System (Oklahoma) (Edmond, OK)
Interview
A 30 minute interview where they asked basic questions about how I would respond to different hypothetical situations. 3 interviewers on a panel. No grilling over resume. Instead, they wanted to focus on how I would handle challenges in the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you respond if you were given more work than it was possible to finish? How do you handle workplace conflict?
I applied online. I interviewed at Metropolitan Library System (Oklahoma) (Oklahoma City, OK) in June 2025
Interview
The interview process was pretty smooth overall. They give you the questions ahead of time and give you about 10 minutes to look them over before the actual interview. They went round robin asking each question from the list. Then afterwards, you take a test on the dewey decimal system and sorting books.

Question 1
Mostly behavioral type questions like, "Tell of a time when you had to solve a problem?" Or "How do you handle multiple tasks at once?"

Interview
Interviewed by 3 library staff members. I could tell they really cared about finding the right worker who will both benefit the library and the library would benefit the worker.
