I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Munich Welding (Jeffersonville, IN)
Interview
The Engineering Manager issued a basic blueprint literacy test with a CAD test, followed by the standard interview with him. Met the owner a couple days later prior to their final decision. (He resigned the end of that year, and his position was never filled.)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Munich Welding (Jeffersonville, IN) in June 2018
Interview
I went in for an interview that was scheduled through a recruiter, the job description was for a 3D design position. Upon meeting with Mike, the general manger, it was explained to me that the position was for a drafter, creating 2D prints and detailing drawings. At this point I informed him that I was not interested in the position and that I was a design engineer and not a drafter. I ended the interview and apologized for any wasted time. The next day the recruiter called and informed me that someone had complained that I was 'yelling at the VP loud enough for the office to hear' and that I was rude and unprofessional. I assume there were some hurt feelings as I was not interested in the position but this is just baffling and exceptionally dishonest.
